Shelly Swift is a second generation hair designer, who at an early age knew exactly what her vocation would be. Starting her career at Phillip Pelusi Salon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Shelly quickly achieved senior stylist standing. With that achievement, her love of the industry and desire to expand her knowledge, she decided to learn the intricacy of hair replacement.
Shelly developed a sincere appreciation of helping others and knew there were many people that needed help in overcoming the problem of hair loss. After meeting Matt Leavitt, D.O., she decided to move to Orlando, Florida where she studied hair loss, hair replacement, and hair transplant surgery with some of the best medical professionals in the industry. Shelly and Dr. Leavitt founded Medical Hair Restoration in 1990, which became one of the largest medical hair transplant companies in the country with both domestic and international patients.
Following her success with Medical Hair Restoration, Shelly went on to launch Imagine Hair, LLC and Lush Lash, a unique salon dedicated to exceptional hair replacements, hair extensions and eyelash extensions. With over 25 years of experience in the beauty and hair industry, Shelly has been involved with some of the countries finest and most elegant salons, as well as working along side some of the greatest medical surgeons in the industry. Having a true gift of working with people to help them gain confidence, improve personal health and well being, Shelly is equally comfortable in a salon, surgical or educational settings, conducting seminars and classes. She consistently works researching new product lines to improve the quality and service she offers to her clients. Shelly brings a fresh, positive outlook to her work and each client that walks through her door.

Kit Stephenson credits her love for the beauty industry to her grandmother. As a young girl she would frequent the,"basement beauty parlor". This was a magical place where color, curling irons, hairspray, powder, lipstick and cosmetics of all types could transform a woman's outlook on life, no matter what the circumstances. She learned about sharing, confiding, and just talking about life, which always makes you feel better. Kit realized at an early age that taking care of yourself and sharing these gifts with people would be her career in life. Bringing out the best in her clients is a passion she lives every day.
Developing her talents, Kit learned of new industry trends in the early 1980's where her love of fine detail work and artistic abilities gave her a colorful palette in doing acrylic nails. Kit built a large clientele from all over Central Florida, becoming a well known artist within the industry. She continued her education and became an Advanced Master Nail Technician with Creative Nail Design.
In 2005 Kit decided to expand her talents and incorporate skincare into her repertoire. This developed into a new passion for Kit. She became licensed as an Aethetics Medical, Intaglio and Xtreme Lash Technician.
Knowing the importance of being in good physical shape, Kit practices and trains, along with her two sons, in the Martial Arts discipline of TaeKwonDo. She holds the rank of 2nd Dan Black Belt and is both a State and National Champion.
Kit is dedicated to her clients and creates a nurturing, healthy environment. With that in mind, Kit joined Shelly Swift in her Lush Lash/Imagine Hair Salon this past fall of 2008. This salon exudes a relaxing, positive environment for an unforgettable experience. That is just one of the reasons their clients come from, not only Florida, but around the world.
